Myths About Personal Branding and Marketing
Of all the topics shouded in myth, Personal Branding and Marketing has to be the least deserving of being mythicised. It's obviously
one of the most important activities an individual can partake in to develop themselves professionally. Could you imagine what
kind of world this would be if no one could trust anyone? Well, personal branding tries to eliminate that however, myths just seem to get in
the way of people taking action in their careers.
If I engage in building a personal brand, it will take a large amount of effort.
Not Necessarily true. You need not expend much energy on building your brand. Just put out a couple of articles on a blog somewhere and
attribute them with your name. Heck - some blogs even encourage people to send in free content so you don't even need a place to rant about your

connection and a will to write on the internet about yourself or your topic of interest. Building a strong reputation has never been so
easy!
I Don't Know the right people.
You know enough people to get started. Whether it's Joe Blogs who works for a company in the industry you would like to get into or Jenny from
the block, they will still both be useful in guiding you to build a personal brand and make connections with people who know their stuff well and
truly. Go out and spend some time with people and get to know them so they can get to know you and tell you how great you are.
I will be ridiculed for taking unnecessary action into building my brand.
Two words: Who Cares? Ultimately, the only person who cares about you in this world is you (and if you're lucky, your parents). The only
people who are going to ridicule you are those who have no respect for you and are jealous of your unrepenting spirit driving you up the ladder
to success.
If you're going to continue making decisions based on what others think, you may as well sell yourself into slavery. Yes, it's that bad. So,
If you want to build a strong personal brand and you are willing to adopt a Geschlossene Fonds.
